Client Details Our client is a leading developer in high rise buildings with rapid growth and strong branding over the years. As part of the growth plans and to maintain their strong track records, they are looking for a credible and professional GM of Construction to manage and lead the construction of a new building from green fields. Description This will be an exciting challenge for an individual to be part of a leading business with rapid growth. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conceptualise and lead overall construction by following company policies, guidelines and goals communicated by the company.
• Manage P&L and balance sheet performance.
• Develop overall profitability.
• Develop operating plans, annual budgets while measuring progress on an ongoing basis.
• Undertake project management activities and supervise teams.
• Manage consultants and site workers.
• Monitor and manage construction site.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the development of the project.
• Plan and manage team development and resource allocation.
• Ensures the safety and well being of the site workers.

Profile We are looking for a GM Construction who has experience in high rise buildings. In addition, the best candidate should have experience in calculating cost estimates, budgets, and schedules. He/She will be selecting appropriate construction methods for the job and budget, translating contracts and technical information to site workers, supervising construction personnel and activities, solve issues around delays and other problems as well as ensuring safety codes. Other requirements include:

• University degree and/or above in Civil Engineering
• High rise construction experience with more than 10 years in developer firms
• Experience with external consultants/vendors
• Proven leadership and problem solving skills
• Sound experience in meeting scheduled time line
• Strong management skills (planning, analysis, budgeting)
• Knowledge in Indonesia laws and regulations
• Willing to work in complex hours
